Holidays...are here!

So my big plans to keep this blog updated fell a little short, lol. Life happened! It's been a busy fall, sewing, selling and trying to keep up with it all. I'm attempting some new "stuff" like hairbows, hairbands and aprons too!

With Christmas coming up everyone is super busy with work, school, holiday parties, shopping, cleaning, decorating...whew, I get tired just thinking about it! So if you are in need of a quick Christmas gift...give me a shout! You can email me at toocutebyleslie@yahoo.com I can provide you anything from a made to order dress (who doesn't LOVE a handmade, one of a kind new dress?) or a handmade hairband to custom cakes, candies, and assorted holiday goodies! You name it and I'll make it! An assortment of cookies goes over well at office parties and when you need a "go to" gift, who doesn't love some homemade fudge, truffles or a whipping cream pound cake?

I'll post more pictures soon...in the mean time, enjoy those holiday festivities and traditions...before we know it we'll be moving on to New Years and 2011! But most of all...remember the real reason Christmas is celebrated...a remembrance of the sacrifice that God sent to this earth in the form of a perfect bundle of joy, the baby Jesus!

Asheboro Fall Festival

I wanted to say thank you to all of my friends and family that came out and supported myself and my friend Misti at the Asheboro Fall Festival this weekend! We had a great time, sold lots of dresses, bows, clips and bow holders and had a fantastic time meeting lots of new people!

I plan to have some of my dresses up on my blog in the next few days and there will be more to come very soon! But in the mean time, if you have a need for a dress or know the size and style of fabric you'd like to use, don't hestitate to email me at toocutebyleslie@yahoo.com

I am gearing up for the upcoming holiday season, so be thinking about your little girls' holiday dress needs! And if you are needing more than one dress, matching dresses or coordinating dresses, we can accomodate that too. And of course, my friend Misti can always come up with an adorable bow to match!

New Pretties

Some of my Halloween dresses..more coming soon! I'm working on Christmas pretties now :)

Here are my two latest creations...the bottom pic is much cuter with a yellow ribbon but Hobby Lobby let me down last week, lol...the purple and yellow dress is a 3T, which runs around 19" long and the Mod fabric dress is a 4T...both are way cute and can be paired with a tshirt or worn without. I love them in the winter with a turtleneck and leggings...Too Cute!

Oh...and we had some family photos taken...if you didn't already see them on Facebook...here are a couple of our favs...

I Leslie, do solemnly swar (I'm Baptist, I don't swear) to return to sewing tomorrow, June 10, 2010...and I will post pics tomorrow, honest :) I am loving this new hobby of mine, so I hope you all will enjoy the benefits of it...learning new stuff everyday to share...more to come soon :)

I'm super excited, Too Cute dropped some dollas at Hobby Lobby today! Found some great fabrics and a cute pattern to give some little bloomers a try. If I can get a few free minutes, Ima give em a whirl. Posting pics soon!

Okay, so I'm still working on some new dresses, should have a few ready by Monday. I'm also planning to put a few dresses in my friend's new store to see how they do...AND I'm planning to sell at the Asheboro Fall Festival...so I better get busy making some sweet little dainties! Hobby Lobby will be loving me :)

No big cake projects for now, but I'm always open for suggestions, lol...check back with you all soon!

A Seussical Good Time Was Had By All...

I will not, can not, shall not tell a story,

This cake and such made me worry,

Seuss and cakes seemed beyond my skill,

But have no fear, all was well, I didn't even need the help of a happy pill!

This all started with a cupcake or two, some encouragement from great friends and a whole lot of butter, shortening and powdered sugar...thus Too Cute was born...cause the cupcakes are too cute, the cakes are too cute and the dresses are too cute...I'm looking forward to see what else I can learn to make...too cute!
